Worst dating experiences

I went on a date with a guy to Terra where he ordered himself a fitness salad, because ‘it’s summer and you really want to eat ice-cream, but you gotta stay fit, so you have to balance it out with a fitness salad.’ I never met him again. Worst dates It's a rather uneventful Sunday, when I’m really feeling like going on a date. The only thing is that I’m pretty very single (to the point, where my mom casually once asks about my sexual orientation, but that’s fine, right…?). Anyway, I turn to the most efficient option – a dating app. I quickly match with this ‘ok-looking’ Italian pilot. Quite soon he offers to go see an Italian movie that evening, which is being screened at this little cinema. It sounds decent, so I agree. When I approach the cinema, I experience a moment of ‘oooh no no no no’, but you can’t really turn around now. The guy is short, like, short to the extent that I have to bend down a little to experience the awkward both cheek Italian kiss. It is not necessarily bad that a guy is short, if he can make up for it with his personality. Unfortunately, my date lacked even more than heights. It felt like an interview, where I asked questions and he blurted out an answer. My favorite response from him was when I asked how did he find the cinema, to which he replied that a girl he was supposed to see that evening proposed to come here, but ghosted the little fella, so he had to find someone else (lucky me!). And now the movie… As it is a Saturday, to my delight, we are THE ONLY people in the room. Then he straddles me with a rattling metal noise, when he tries to take out of his backpack two beers, which I politely decline. Then I’m only left with the movie, which also to my delight, is literally the longest movie I have ever seen. Half-way in to the movie, my back starts to hurt from the little uncomfortable chairs to the point, where I’m so bored and uncomfortable, that I’m contemplating on just leaving the cinema, while the movie is going. But I don’t. When the movie ends, he SMASHES the can with his hands and puts it in the backpack. Then he gives me a very awkward goodbye kiss and I walk away as fast as I can. Lesson: if you dont put a standard on the person you’re seeNever flirt with 2 girls at the same time. Entering a bar with girl A and telling girl B I was with my family. It so happened that at the bar I had to introduce girl A as my step-sister to girl B. End of story: they appeared to be childhood friends and I had to drink alone :)) Went to a date, but when I arrived, she blocked me on every social media platform in addition to not showing up. Was on a date with this girl. I still have no clue what was the issue- she just never said a word. I kind of had a general idea of what she behaved like with friends/ in public and she never striken me as a shy person. Perhaps that could have been the issue, but it doesnt seem logical in hindsight. So for like an hour and a half (between meeting up, eating dinner and fucking off) I said aproximately the same ammount of words as during my entire life just to keep the occasion alive. She actually (allegedly) ended up liking the date. That feeling wasnt exactly mutual though... Once went on a date with an alpha-malewanna-be-coursemate. Not impressed. Went for a walk in a park in winter... at -15 degrees, for like 2hrs, and she got ill the next day, no second date. 18 THE INSIDER / FEBRUARY / 2020 by you

Before leaving for SSE, my then girlfriend and I broke up, because she couldn’t handle a long distance relationship. The next week after that she asked me out (weird right?). I thought that this was a friend date, but as we met up, all I saw was her making out with another guy. Her sort of way of showing that she had moved on, I guess!

A long while ago I dated my now-closest friend. We didn't even like each other romantically, it turned out we just didn't know that we could be just good friends? Our dates consisted of only meeting in the park, sitting on the "free wi-fi" bench and looking at 9gag rage comics in silence. A few years ago he came out to me as gay, and I came out as asexual. Living our best lives now, no wi-fi bench needed ;)

Well… I once dated a guy (for a year or smth) and we broke up. After that, he started hitting on all of my friends and ended up dating one of them. I of course found out from other people and am no longer friends with that girl :D However, when I got into a new relationship, he called me a slut :D Hope this makes someone feel better :))

Came to pick up her in Porsche 2-seater sportscar, but she was more of a Range Rover lover and complained that the car is too small the whole trip
