Wish Makers Made Change Possible

The compassionate support of our donors empowered us to move beyond wishing, to action! This year’s North Texas Giving Day campaign was the most successful to date, with St. Philip’s surpassing its monetary goal, raising over $140,000 to make wishes come true for those we serve.

Many thanks to Michael Guidry and Ashlee Kleinert for serving as campaign Co-chairs. They, along with our board of trustees, lead the way to ensure St. Philip’s can continue its mission of transforming lives through FAITH, EDUCATION, and SERVICE in these challenging times. Thank you to all of our donors for ensuring positive change in the lives of every child, every family, and every block St. Philip’s touches. You are never given a WISH without also being given the power to make it come true!

Inaugural Food Pantry Fundraiser – Cookin’ with Aunt Bette – A Big Hit

Hosted by Honorary Chairs Ann Mahowald, Dotti Singhal, Abigail Sinwell and Tina Stansbury, Cookin’ with Aunt Bette, proved to be a deliciously fun event for a great cause – Aunt Bette’s Community Pantry. Participating chefs included Chef Chad Houser (Café Momentum), Chef Sharon Van Meter (3015 at Trinity Groves), Chef Tisha Crear (Recipe Oak Cliff), and a family of chefs – The Musco Family (of St. Philip’s) - who provided delightful cooking demonstrations of tasty dishes inspired by items typically found in the food pantry. All funds raised through the event will be matched 1:1 by the Perot Family to help endow the pantry, named in honor of their beloved Aunt Bette Perot. This endowment will ensure that the pantry continues to serve over 750 South Dallas families each year.
