SPORTS

Volleyball

Led by the outstanding play of senior captain and outside hitter, Lorenzo Samin (pictured above), the team captured a second straight County Championship and a fifth straight North 2 State Group Title. Coach Don Guide commented, “The team had an outstanding season in which many players turned in great performances.”

Track

Junior Najee Glass (pictured here) once again dominated the track headlines. Glass set a meet record (46.43), the fifth fastest time in state history to repeat as the Meet of Champions winner in the 400. He ran 46.55 to finish second at the New Balance Nationals.

Rugby

Though still considered one of Prep’s newer sports, rugby continues to grow in popularity among athletes and fans.
