N in ty miles aw ay fro m th e classroom a t Prep, this resort a t W o o d rid g e , N.Y., has e ig h t ski lifts and tw e n ty -fiv e ski instruc足 to rs. Father Jaschko is v e ry p ro u d o f this fa c t: "D avos is a much n ice r and b ig g e r place t o ski." A ll p a rtic ip a n ts m ust take in足 s tru ctio n b e fo re using th e h alf-m ile tra il fo r beginners. To add to th e excite m e n t, g irls fro m fo u r o f th e local academ ies were in v ite d on several o f th e trip s . M em bers w ill receive th e S tu d e n t C o u n cil a p p ro v e d Ski Patch which was designed b y Jan Kawecki o f th ird year. For th e tim e be in g th e Ski C lu b w ill n o t c o m p e te due to th e lack o f o p p o rtu n ity to p ra c tic e , b u t th e re is a slig h t p o ssib ility th a t in th e fu tu re St. Peter's m ay a d d a Ski Team . The St. Peter's Prep Ski C lu b has le ft a fin e im pression on th e personnel a t Davos, and all in vo lve d hope th a t Davos w ill be Prep's "Ski C e n te r 1 in th e fu tu re .
