The Dr. Tafur Generations Program is designed specifically for patients age 55 and older who need an acute inpatient setting to treat severe disorders, such as depression, suicidal thoughts, bipolar symptoms, anxiety and psychosis. The medical teams at Mountain Vista Medical Center and St. Luke’s Medical Center partnered with the behavioral health care team at St. Luke’s Behavioral Health Center so patients have access to 24-hour medical and nursing care.
