New at The Carolina Opry Theater Delvin Choice and Rory John Zak
Two of our newest cast members have had female hearts pounding this summer. Meet Rory John Zak and Delvin Choice! Rory, just 19 years old and gifted with both great talent and good looks, comes to us from his home state of North Carolina. A gifted vocalist, guitarist, and song-writer, Rory is also a classically trained pianist and plays multiple instruments. In the classic Carolina Opry show, see him paired with Chas Croft Sorrells as they perform an incredible rendition of Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper’s show-stopping hit “Shallow” from A Star is Born.
Delvin Choice
Delvin Choice is a home-grown South Carolinian—but he wowed Hollywood when he blew away all four judges in the finals of The Voice. A singer from birth, Delvin is an Alumnus of Greenville Fine Arts Center, where he studied classical music for four years. His diverse background includes numerous awards and theatrical roles in The Greenville Little Theatre’s production of Ain’t Misbehavin’, Roger and Hammerstein’s Carousal, Motown Magic, Little Shop of Horrors, Smoky Joe’s Café, Ragtime the Musical, South Carolina Children’s Theatre’s production of Seussical The Musical, and Pippin. A consummate entertainer that you won’t believe, Delvin goes from doing the splits in a James Brown medley to nailing the high notes in “Unchained Melody” like it’s just another day!
