SCHOOLS.............................47

Park Springs Elementary is excited to introduce Ms. Denise Hanson as the new principal of our school. The school community is grateful for Ms. Hanson’s continued dedication to PSE and we look forward to supporting her in this new chapter. Our school theme for 2021-2022 is “Park Springs is Out of This World!” We are excited to begin a school year that will be full of new learning experiences and discoveries.

Open House dates will be announced soon! The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) Board will be available at on campus events to meet families and sell spirit items including our new 2021 spirit shirt. Order online anytime at parkspringspto.ecwid.com and merchandise will be delivered to your child’s classroom.

The PTO encourages you to join as a member and/or a volunteer. All membership dues fund various projects and events throughout the school. Register now as a volunteer at browardschools.com/volunteer, so we can welcome you as a volunteer on campus.

The PTO meets on the 1st Wednesday and the SAC/ SAF meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month. Like the PTO, the School Advisory Council (SAC) and the School Advisory Forum (SAF) have monthly meetings where parents and guardians are encouraged to get involved!

The past 18 months have presented many challenges for students, staff, and parents. We invite our school community to come together and work together to provide our children with a positive school experience...one that I am sure we can all agree our boys and girls deserve. As an “A” rated Title 1 School, we currently service over 525 students from Pre-K to 5th grade. Our dedicated and passionate staff is committed to fostering a learning environment where safety, respect, accountability, and support are highly evident. At Coral Park, we embrace a growth mindset that encourages learners to seek, examine, experience and develop by embracing learning opportunities. While focusing on academics, we also support and develop the social and emotional well-being of our students. At CPE, we encourage and promote kindness as well as recognizing and accepting each other’s uniqueness, abilities, and individuality. We invite you to join with us and embrace our school’s theme “Let It Be” as we craft an environment to
