Park Trails celebrated 20 years of excellence serving families in Parkland by hosting a rededication event in which the founding staff members of the school, including the founding principal Ms. Fran Renguso joined the current staff members and principal Ms. Arlene Manville for ribbon cutting and unveiling of the Commemorative mural. PARKLAND LIBRARY READING BUDDIES (K–5TH GRADE) Sessions held on Mondays from 3:30pm to 4:30pm. Would your child benefit from a Reading Buddy? When younger students read with older students, literacy skills are developed in an enjoyable manner. The Parkland Juniorettes are high school girls dedicated to making a difference. This group has partnered with the Parkland Library to help younger students with reading. Building partnerships between our high-achieving high school students and elementary-age children is an excellent way to reinforce lifelong reading success. CORAL SPRINGS KAMP KOOL SUMMER CAMP The city’s popular summer camp, Kamp Kool will return in its original format this summer for kids entering 1st grade through 8th. SIMPLY SOCCER CAMP The Simply Soccer camp has begun its 35th year of soccer camps in Coral Springs. Last year, we had record numbers with nearly 550 campers, and we are off to a great start this year with 40 campers in our recently completed Spring Break camp. The camps are for boys and girls, ages 5-15, who will be taught a variety of soccer skills from dribbling to shooting. It’s the longest-running camp in Coral Springs.
