What a year it's been!
and they set off to Kimberley to defend the Inter CBC Soccer Cup.
We started off the year with nine new pupils in our class: Ÿ Basetsana M. Ÿ Ofentse N. Ÿ Limpho M. Ÿ Reoagile S. Ÿ David S. Ÿ Sipho M. Ÿ Pelo. D. Ÿ Ebenezer M. Ÿ Hector S.
As we went into the third term, our parents were called in for a meeting to discuss our behaviour. We then asked a few of our new classmates how they felt at the beginning of the year and this is what they said: Sipho: I had preconceived ideas and thought I was not going to fit in. Ofentse N.: I was very excited and couldn't wait to meet my new classmates.
We also had a new teacher for the term, Mr Gouws, who always gave class detentions because of our behaviour. Dumo M., Khanyisa G. and Ofentse M. received their first diamonds, of which they are proud. At the beginning of the second term, our class teacher, Me Tlale, came back from her break at home. Further into the second term, we had the May project and our class came in second place. Bakang T., Lulama M., and Bonolo N. took part in the annual Junior Winter Festival that took place in Pretoria. Dumo M. made the U19 Inter CBC soccer team
And when we asked them how they feel, they said: Sipho: I feel like I fit in better and it's like family. Reoagile: I am still trying to fit in and adapt to the teachers' response towards me, but other than that, it's going well. In conclusion, we had a blast in 2011.
