Three times a year (Pall, Wi n ter, and Spring) , the Center publishes a

comprehensive Repo rt summarizing current controversies over stu dent press rights. In addition, the Reports explain and analyze complex legal issues most

o ften confronted by student jour n alists . Maj or court and legislati v e actions are

highlighted .

This year, the SPLC Report has been extensively revised and expanded to better meet the needs of students, teachers, and ad m i nis trato rs . In the past, the SPLC has distributed its Report at no cost . This school year, however, we need the s uppo r t of those we serve and so we are aski ng you to buy
