Attention, Lodges!

Earn money. Every month! We are excited to introduce our 2023 membership drive. It’s called “Into The Community,” and all the details are below.

Earn Money Every Month!

Earn 3 points for each new person a lodge member refers either to an agent (any

For each month that a lodge earns 10 points, the lodge will receive a $100 check. If the lodge reaches 25 points, the lodge will receive a $250 check. Nothing counts until the certificate is issued. Payout is quarterly. Results will be posted in the Vestnik each month.

Ideas for Increasing Membership

Ask your Territory Manager to invite agents to your lodge social. Ask the agent to speak and share updates on the latest SPJST news. Invite friends and relatives to your lodge’s monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly socials. Since it is a social, it will help build better relationships.

Organize a members-and-friends dinner at a local restaurant. The Home Office will help you advertise and fund the dinner. The lodge’s responsibility is to find a place that is large enough to accommodate up to 40 people. This event will bring people together and help build a relationship to the community with SPJST.

Invite your Territory Manager to speak at your lodge event.

Sponsor or ask the Home Office to help sponsor events in your community. Host the SPJST Float in your city or community parade. SPJST needs to be visible in your community, and the Home Office is willing to help you pay for this.

Let a non-profit community organization use your lodge hall for its events. This provides visibility for your lodge, and it lets the community know who you are.

Work with SPJST Vice President of Sales and Marketing Delisle Doherty or your Territory Manager to present seminars or free insurance reviews for all members of the community at your lodge hall or a facility in the community, if you do not have a building. The Home Office will help organize and advertise the event. The Home Office will help select the best topic for your community or bring agents to do the free reviews.

Organize a community event, like a fundraiser, food drive, clothing drive, pet food drive, etc. Ask a local business to allow you to set a table in front of their establishment. The Survivor Game

But, wait! There’s more! Our agents are participating in The Survivor Game so we have also created a Survivor Game for our lodges!

Join The Survivor Game, and your lodge may earn an additional $1,000!

How? For every month that a lodge earns 10 points or more in the Into The Community Membership Drive, the lodge will move on to the next month. If you do not earn at least 10 points, you will be knocked out of the game. The last lodge standing on December 31, 2023, will receive $1,000! If multiple lodges are still alive at the end of the year, the one with the most points earned throughout the year will win.

If a lodge does not earn at least 10 points in one month, it will receive a mulligan (1 free month). This will allow the lodge to stay in the game if it has a bad month.

A chart with the survivors will be posted each month in the Vestnik. The longer a lodge stays in the game, the better its chances to win.
