Camp Dress Code
During your stay at SPJST Summer Camp, we want you to have the best experience possible. SPJST has developed the following dress code to assure that no one will feel offended or uncomfortable during his/her stay. Please be advised that the following dress code will be enforced for all individuals attending camp, including staff, counselors, and chaperones.
1. Clothing—All clothing shall be neat, clean, and acceptable in good repair and appearance and shall be worn within the bounds of decency and good taste as appropriate for SPJST events.
2. Articles of clothing which display profanity, products, or slogans which promote tobacco, violence, alcohol, drugs, sex, or are in any other way distracting, are prohibited.
3. Excessively baggy, short, or tight clothing and clothing which advertises gang symbols or affiliation is prohibited.
4. Items of clothing which expose bare midriffs, bare chests, undergarments, or that are transparent (see-through) are prohibited. Tank tops with straps wider than one inch are permitted. Please be advised that spaghetti straps, shirts which expose a bare back, halter tops, and tube tops are prohibited.
5. Swimming (For all water recreation)—Swimsuits for men: Swim trunks only (no shorts, cut-off pants, or Speedos). Swimsuits for women: Onepiece suits are recommended; however, two-piece suits are allowed as long as they are modestly cut. No string, thong, or crochet suits will be allowed. Swimsuits may only be worn during swimming activities.
According to SPJST Standards, if you choose to dress inappropriately, you will be asked to change, or be required to wear a camp-issued shirt. By planning ahead and packing appropriately, you will save yourself the inconvenience of having to change, and you will be contributing to a pleasant camp atmosphere.

training company, please know this is the online training certification for our camps this summer. TrainRight offers a Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention program based on Texas laws. Even if you have another certification from church, you will still need to take this because it is based on issues that happen at summer camps. I found this website much more informative, and the questions are straight forward. They do not confuse the person taking the test like the previous company we were using.
All chaperones are required to be at camp for the entirety of camp.

Dear Vestnik Readers,

Lodge 47, Seaton youth excited to celebrate birthday
Dear Vestnik Readers,
My birthday is coming up. I am going to be six. I am excited to go to school on my birthday because everybody can celebrate it at school. There is also somebody else’s birthday that is coming up. His name is Philip. His birthday is also on Friday. It is the week before mine.
I had five class pets. They were caterpillars. Now they are butterflies. Today, we were supposed to let them outside. But because of the rain, we weren’t able to go outside. I hope we’re able to do it tomorrow. Fraternally, Andrew Ordogne, age 5 —SPJST—
