Spooner Row Annual Village Fete

MBS Event Wymondham 16th & 17th July 2011.

Sunday 3rd July. profits will go towards the much needed new floor so please come along to a fun afternoon and support our efforts on Sunday July 3rd at 2.00pm.

We at Spooner Row work diligently throughout the year to raise funds to maintain and improve our Village Hall; we have recently re-surfaced the drive and car park and will shortly be putting in a beautiful new wooden floor. The Hall is one of the few facilities in the local area, serving Suton and Wattlefield as well as Spooner Row itself. We are always keen to see new faces both on the committee and at organised functions. It is a valuable and well used venue for school activities, children’s parties, ballroom and modern dancing, art, bowls, pilates and yoga. Following the success of 2010 this year’s annual fete will again be a joint effort between the School and the Hall,

There will be craft stalls, games, competitions, dancing display, local school and Church choirs, art exhibition, car boot sale, delicious refreshments - including local ice cream, teas and homemade cakes. For further details or to book spaces please contact Mavis on 01953 605569.

The weekend starts on Saturday 16th July with a Psychic Supper with a twist. 48 people are invited to come and learn about different skills of the psychic world and enjoy an entertaining evening including a hot supper. Some of the skills on offer are angels, past life regression, dowsing and chinese astrology. Tickets are £18 per person and include a 2 course supper and a goody bag.
