Itinerary Day 1/2/3 Depart from London on our overnight flight to
Singapore, where we enjoy a stopover, including a visit to the spectacular Gardens by the Bay. Fly from Singapore to Auckland in New Zealand on evening of Day 3. Inc. Meals: In-flight & breakfast.
Day 4 On arrival we depart for our Auckland hotel with a stop en route at Eden Garden. Inc. Meals: in-flight & dinner. Christchurch Botanic Gardens
Day 13 We enjoy another festival garden tour – this time a half-day urban tour featuring clever and thoughtfully designed smaller gardens. Inc. Meals: Breakfast & dinner.
Day 14 Depart for Christchurch and enjoy the sights of the ‘Garden City’, including a visit to the Christchurch Botanic Gardens. Inc. Meals: Breakfast & dinner. Eden Garden
Day 5 Visit Ayrlies, one of the most celebrated gardens
in New Zealand. From Auckland we break our journey in Hamilton with a visit to the impressive Hamilton Gardens. We continue to the thermal wonderland of Rotorua, the Sulphur City. This evening we visit Tamaki Maori Village for a cultural experience and hangi dinner. Inc. Meals: Breakfast & dinner.
Day 6 This morning, we head south through the small towns of Piopio and Mokau to the fertile Taranaki region and visit Tikorangi, The Jury Garden. Inc. Meals: Breakfast & dinner.
Day 7/8 Over the next two days, we take in some of the
gardens featured in this year’s Taranaki Garden Festival. Inc. Meals: Breakfast only.
Day 9 Leaving New Plymouth after breakfast, we will travel to Wellington, New Zealand’s capital city. En route we visit the outstanding Paloma Gardens at Wanganui. Inc. Meals: Breakfast & dinner.
Day 10 Start this morning with an informative sightseeing tour of Wellington and then visit Otari Native Botanic Garden and Wilton’s Bush Reserve, Zealandia and the Karori Sanctuary. On our return to the city, we visit the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.
Day 15 This morning, travel out to Governors Bay, to visit
Ohinetahi before travelling to Akaunui Historic House and Gardens. As we return to Christchurch, we stop on the way to visit Trott’s Gardens. Inc. Meals: Breakfast & lunch.
Day 16 A day for spectacular sights. We travel through Geraldine and Fairlie, over Burke’s Pass into the vast Mackenzie Basin to the magnificent blue waters of Lake Tekapo. Inc. Meals: Breakfast & dinner.
Day 17 This morning we visit Chantecler Garden and
Gibbston Valley Winery. This evening we take a cruise across Lake Wakatipu on the steamer TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak Station, where we dine at the Colonel’s Homestead. Inc. Meals: Breakfast & dinner.
Day 18 We enjoy one of the undoubted highlights of our tour as we depart for Milford Sound. Inc. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Day 19 Sadly, our tour of New Zealand comes to an end
today as we transfer to Queenstown Airport for our flight to Auckland and onward connection to London. Inc. Meals: Breakfast only.

Day 11 This morning we board the Interislander Ferry and cross Cook Strait to Picton in the South Island. Later, we visit the sumptuous tasting room and cellar at Wither Hills Vineyards for wine-tasting. Inc. Meals: Breakfast & dinner.
Day 12 Today we enjoy a full day at the Marlborough Garden festival including some private gardens. Inc. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.
