Rome: The Heart of an Empire
Christmas in Wessex
Christmas in Edinburgh
Rome is an exhilarating destination where the glories of its ancient past exist beside museums, art-soaked churches and medieval piazzas – evidence of Rome’s continued power when its empire was no more. This is a unique exploration of over 2,000 years of rich Roman history.
Based in Salisbury, enjoy a different Christmas as we explore the archaeology of Wessex. The chalk downs of this ancient kingdom have been a focus for monumental building and funerary ritual for more than five millennia. Explore medieval Salisbury, visiting its cathedral and the Christmas market in nearby Winchester.
This delightful Yule stay in the Scottish capital features a Scottish take on the traditional Christmas market, a special Christmas tour of Mary King’s Close below the Royal Mile and music at the Botanic Gardens.
