6. Personal Data
For the purposes of its work, the Àgora Masia Bach School has an automated personal data file and a general document file that contain the personal data we require in order to be able to provide our services. When an admission application is made, the parent or guardian expressly consents to, and authorises the School to process and handle the student’s personal data (which is voluntarily passed to the School or which the School receives due to its relationship with the family and the student), in accordance with the provisions of Law 15/1999, of the 13th of December on data protection and the 46/95 CE Directive. The said authorisation is limited to the use of the data in fulfilment of legitimate functions by the School, its departments, publications, or catalogues, or by collaborating bodies or external institutions, in fulfilment of their legitimate functions. The parent or guardian also consents that the said data may be given to the appropriate persons in public and private organisations where this is necessary for them to exercise their authority and responsibilities. The parent or guardian also authorises the School to obtain and use images of the child that are related to the school's activity. These may be used in printed or digital form, (in school publications, end-of-year class photographs, the school’s web site, etc), provided that the said publication does not constitute an unwarranted interference in the child’s privacy or reputation, or is against his/her interests, all the foregoing in accordance with the provisions of article 4 no. 3 of the Organic Law 1/1996, on the Judicial Protection of Minors.
In order to exercise, at any time, their rights to access the data, to correct the data, to object to it, and/or to request its cancellation, families may write to the School Administration, Colegio Àgora Masia Bach, C/Puig de Mira, 15-21, Sant Esteve Sesrovires. a. Changes to Personal Data
