s spring begins to bloom around us, it's time to shed the jeans and jackets in favor of lighter clothes. For many of us, that means updating ourselves on the latest trends of the fashion world. The same styles that are sweeping the catwalk also have the ability to modernize our interior design. Once you finish your spring cleaning, refresh your home with these four fashion trends.
▲ Earth tones: Rusty yellow, deep red and forest green are the colors to
wear this year, and they're also the colors for décor. Rather than making these vibrant tones the main color of a room, use them for accent colors, such as in upholstery or curtains. Opt for a neutral grey as the main color of the room.
⊳ Graphics: Graphic tees are a playful way to bring attention to an outfit and show the world who you are at the same time — your favorite rock band, Marvel superhero or cheesy saying. Do it yourself in your home by making pagesized glossy prints of your favorite photos or quotes and hanging them in your own mini-gallery on the wall in a living room, bedroom or hallway.
