Chestnut Tree House

We have roles available throughout the organisation, from retail and fundraising to event hosts and play volunteers. This is a hospice built on love, and we would not be what we are without our volunteers and their hard work, dedication and commitment.

No matter what your skills, experience and interests, there will be an opportunity for you to make a real difference. From talking to our volunteers, we know that they value the impact on their lives too. “Volunteering at Chestnut Tree House is always rewarding, sometimes humbling but never sad,” one told us.

The main qualities we look for in our volunteers is that they are reliable and honest, and reflect our core values of being caring, courageous and connected. Whatever role you choose, you will be giving back to your community and helping us care for local children and young people, enabling them and their families to make the most of every day they have together.
