The Queen in Southwark: 70 years of royal history The Queen has been a frequent visitor to Southwark since taking the throne in 1952. As the nation prepares to celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee with events up and down the country, we share some Diocesan memories from across the years.
