The 30 minute lesson each day offers water familiarization, basic swim instruction, and will also feature pool games and parent education, at a nominal fee. The YMCA SPLASH program is a national YMCA initiative that is an inexpensive opportunity for kids age 5–12, to learn water safety. The program is designed to prepare children with swimming ability from non-swimmer to beginner for summer swimming programs as well as to help parents feel comfortable with their confidence and skills in and around water.
