Cruising is always fun for us here in Florida, it provide an easy escape for a few days or a few weeks. With so many ports of call within four hours we also have many amazing choices of cruise lines and destinations. For the last cruise we drove to Miami and took Virgin Cruise Lines Scarlet Lady. All I can say is fantastic and amazing!!
Starting from the time you arriving until the moment you leave you are in pure relaxation mode. As a side note you must be 18 years or older to go on a Virgin Cruise, there are NO children. All tips are included with the cruise, and you only need your bracelet to get into your room, buy drinks, or play in the casino. The whole cruise is designed to be as easy and relaxing as possible!
Beware! There is no buffet on board! You go to what looks like the buffet area, sit down, and order, and they bring your food to you! Also, all the restaurants are included, there are add-ons at the restaurants, however you can eat at anyone of them simply make a reservation! The food is also made fresh and is very clean, you will really enjoy the taste and the way they prepare each amazing dish.
The party atmosphere is there for 2 separate events. They have Red Night, a night that is celebrating with everyone wearing red! You can dress as fancy as you want or simply wear red shorts and a t-shirt no one minds as long as you wear red. The other fuin night is the PJ party. Everyone wears PJs for a party on the top deck with music, theatrics, and dancing.

Operation: Mind Crime
This third studio album from the Seattle Based band Queensryche was release on May 3 2003, with two bonus tracks added. The album sold over a million copies. This breakthrough album reached number 50 on Billboard 200. It was certified GOLD in early 1989, and platinum just two years later. The top singles on the album Eyes of a Stranger and I Don’t Believe in Love were the bands first chart topping hits.
The album was produced in Montreal and was the brainchild of Geoff Tate, the lead singer. It took time; however, he won over his bandmates one by one and soon they were all on board with the project . The album received great acclaim upon the release. Critics loved Tate’s vocal, complex and well written storyline, as well as the its amazing musical arrangements.

The First Night Baseball Game
The first night game in professional baseball was played on May 24, 1935, at Crosley Field in Cincinnati, Ohio. The game was between the Cincinnati Reds and the Philadelphia Phillies, and it marked a significant moment in baseball history.
Prior to this game, baseball was always played during the daytime because there was no way to properly illuminate the playing field. However, with the introduction of artificial lighting, night games became possible.
President Franklin D Roosevelt threw a ceremonial switch at the White House in Washington and “turned the lights” on the field in Cincinnati. The Reds won the game 2-1, with a home run by leadoff hitter, Ethan Allen. The success of the first night game led to the widespread adoption of night games in professional baseball, which continue to be a popular feature of the sport today.
Tampa Bay Rays!!
The Tampa Bay Rays are our baseball team, and they are having a great start to this year 2023 Season. As a member of the AL East they are currently in first place over the Orioles and held an impressive 13-0 start this year. Right now, they stand at 26-6 and are 5 games ahead of the nearest competitor.
Our Rays have played their home games at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg since their inception. The Rays have had success in the past as well, winning the American League pennant in 2008 and reaching the World Series in 2008 and 2020, so, we are hoping for another winning Rays year!
The Rays have a reputation for being a team that focuses on analytics and innovative strategies, and they have been successful in identifying undervalued players and finding ways to maximize their performance on the field. This is showing in the current year to be the formula to get the games won. It has been hard for the other teams to figure out how to be them with their current pitching staff and game fielding defense. Come on out and route on your team!
