Attaching motors to fishing kayaks is nothing new. Anglers have been “Jerry rigging� trolling motors to canoes and kayaks for a very long time. The downfall to many of these angler innovations was having to reach to the back or side to steer these vessels. Many of the new motor units include foot and side controls for steering.
