Welcome to the 2017 Building and Remodeling Directory! This Directory is your guide to construction products, services and industry experts that can help you answer questions and solve problems. This guide represents individuals and businesses who invest themselves into making our community the best it can be with their time and talent. Many of the listings in this Directory belong to businesses, like mine, that span more than two generations. Whether you are looking for a design expert, a site work contractor, a general contractor, a painter, a cabinet installer, financing or nearly any trade you need for your project, you are likely to find it right here in this guide. Remember, we are here to help you and the community to grow and prosper for the next 50 years! In 1965, contractors, developers, material suppliers and other Southern Oregon neighbors got together and formed the Home Builders Association of Jackson County (HBAJC). For the last 50 years, our Association has successfully represented the construction industry in Southern Oregon, guiding our community through the never ending twists and turns that affect the construction business. As rules and regulations grew, so did our Association to help ensure that the dream of safe, affordable and sustainable homes would continue. After 5 decades of service to our community our organization has grown and matured and I am grateful for this dedicated group of local business
leaders investing their time and talent to create a better community for everyone. Local business leaders make up our Board of Directors and it is my pleasure to serve as this year’s President. The Builders Association of Southern Oregon (BASO) provides great events that support our local community & economy like the Southern Oregon Home Show each February, our Annual Golf Tournament in the Spring, and the Southern Oregon Tour of Homes every Fall. Our Association provides education, advocacy, policy support and many other important services, some that aren’t available anywhere else. In fact, our services and our mission have expanded so much that we’ve outgrown our original name! Starting this year our organization will now operate as the Builders Association of Southern Oregon, providing support to ALL of our local residential and commercial construction industry partners!
