The Women’s Center Announces New CEO and Executive Director Rachna Krishnan has been named the new CEO and Executive Director of The Women’s Center, succeeding Shirley Clark, who has been in this position for six years. Rachna brings her passion for women’s issues to her new role at The Center. Even back in her college days, she volunteered at Women Organized Against Rape in Philadelphia, answering the organization’s hotline and providing moral support, information, clothing, and supplies to rape victims being treated at

local hospitals. Rachna has 25 years of healthcare experience, most recently with Inova Health System, but has worked extensively in management consulting and makes time for volunteering with non-profit organizations. Rachna joins The Women’s Center just as it’s preparing for its 34th Annual Leadership Conference, “Ready, Reach, Rise” on March 14 at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner. The program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by a networking happy hour. This year’s conference will be an energizing day of thought leadership, interactive panel discussions, and informational break-out sessions designed to help you be ready for the next challenge, reach for bigger goals, and rise above fear – whether at work, home, or in the community at large.
