Addison Nov. 3 • Monet Daniels, 18, of Addison, was arrested near Lake and Bloomingdale at around 3:03 p.m. Police said Daniels had an original warrant out of the Addison Police Department for theft. • Julia C. Prena, 21, of Addison, was arrested in the 1400 block of W. Lake St. at around 12:14 p.m. and charged with criminal damage to property. Police said Prena set fire to a bottle, causing a garbage can belonging to a business to catch fire.
Nov. 1 • Elizabeth A. Carey, 42, of Wood Dale, was arrested near Addison and Wrightwood at around 9:27 a.m. following a traffic stop. Police said Carey had a failure to appear warrant out of the McHenry County Sheriff’s Department for disorderly conduct. She also was charged with driving while license suspended and no valid registration. • Phillip Jadown, 28, of Addison, was arrested in the 500 block of Park Place at around 11:37 p.m. Police said Jadown had an original warrant out of the Addison Police Department for unlawful possession of a controlled substance. block of W. Roosevelt at around 4:15 p.m. Sept. 16 and charged with retail theft. The original complaint and arrest warrant was issued Oct. 27. • Theft was reported in the 300 block of N. Harvard. Police said that between 6:01 and 6:40 p.m., an unknown suspect stole a package that had been delivered by the U.S. Postal Service. • Burglary was reported at a store at around 1:13 p.m. Police said an unknown suspect punched the driver’s side door lock of a vehicle in the parking lot. The suspect was able to gain entry to the vehicle and the trunk. A purse was stolen from the trunk and later found in the parking lot. Nothing else appeared to be missing from the vehicle or the purse.
Oct. 26 Nathan W. Beebe, 27, of Mokena, was arrested at a store at around 7:51 p.m. and charged with retail theft.
Oct. 25-Oct. 26 • Theft was reported in the 700 block of S. Summit. Police said between 11 a.m. Oct. 25 and 6:15 a.m. Oct. 26, an unknown suspect stole a Chicago Cubs flag from the front of a residence. • Theft was reported in the 500 block of N. Ellsworth. Police said between 10:30 p.m. Oct. 25 and 11 a.m. Oct. 26, an unknown suspect stole a Chicago Cubs flag from the north side of a residence.
Oct. 23-Oct. 26 Theft was reported near Terrace and Ardmore. Police said that between 7 p.m. Oct. 23 and 9 p.m. Oct. 26, an unknown suspect stole $250 from a residence.
Oct. 24 Police said an unknown suspect near Addison and Westmore shot a passing freight train and damaged a window of the train engine at around 8:12 p.m.
Oct. 23-Oct. 24 Police said an unknown suspect damaged Halloween yard decorations and stole an inflatable yard Halloween decoration between 12:01 a.m. Oct. 23 and 7 a.m. Oct. 24. Eggs were thrown at the residence as well.
Oct. 23 A 47-year-old Villa Park man was arrested in the 300 block of W. Division at 11:34 a.m. and charged with two counts of domestic battery.
