Recurs each week on Sunday, Monday and Friday Saturday. Find the perfect gift for those special people on your list from nearly 100 unique works of art by local and regional artists. The very popular popular Artsy Holiday Market features a treasure-trove of holidayinspired, hand made artwork and gift ideas.

9 Monday Movies with Black Point

Estate: Enjoy a critically acclaimed film at the public library every second Monday from November to April. Each film session will include an introduction by Dave Desimone of the Wisconsin Historical Society. Desimone will lead a group discussion following each film. Here is the schedule: M, Jan. 9; Howard’s End, Feb. 13; The Great Dictator; March 13; The Battle of Algiers, April 10. Movies all begin at 2 p.m. at the Lake Geneva Public Library, 918 W. Main Street. 10 Acrylic Painting Class presented by Badger Community Education. You will receive all the supplies you need. No experience is necessary. Step-by-step instructions will be given by the instructor. 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Badger High School commons. $22 registration fee plus $5 materials fee.

17 Telescope Observing with

GLAS: Join Geneva Lake Astrophysics and STEAM and the Lake Geneva Public Library for an evening of telescope observing. View objects like Jupiter, Mars, and the Great Orion Nebula and learn about space. Observing will be held outdoors; dress for the weather. After looking at some space objects, warm up by the fireplace with hot cocoa. Lake Geneva Public Library, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

East Troy Electric Railroad – 202 Church St., East Troy. Take a 14-mile train ride on the only remaining electric interurban tracks in Wisconsin. Historic museum and carefully maintained rail cars from 90 to 100 years ago. Stops at the Elegant Farmer. 15 miles north of Lake Geneva on Highway 120. Several trains depart each day on weekends from the East Troy Depot.
