Natural ingredients
Sophisticatering is not the traditional catering company that uses a variety of processed and previously prepared foods that are defrosted and heated. “Our plan was to offer a healthy and flavorful change from catering companies that use chemicalized and over-processed foods,” Annette said. “We are a green caterer, which means that all our foods are either organic or all natural. Our meats are always USDA choice or prime cuts. We never use any lower grades of meats. Our seafood is wild caught or if it is necessary to purchase farm raised we only accept fish or seafood raised on carefully tended farms raised without the use of hormones or colorings.” It is easy to see the passion both Annette and Matt put into their catering company. On a tour through their kitchen, Matt pointed out the entire wall of ovens to prepare foods. “Everything we serve is made from scratch including all the sauces, soups, and salad dressings, which are prepared the day of the event,” he said. “Even all the sausage served is made on site, never purchased. The sausages are made with USDA choice or prime cuts of meat and seasoned with fresh herbs and spices.” He went on to add that some of the herbs are grown by the Flynns.
