How to Book YOUR HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
PASSPORTS
Accommodation within Europe varies, within this brochure we have given our (Southern Holidays) opinion relating to each hotel.
All passengers must have valid passports and visas if required.
The accommodation and meals as stated in our descriptions are:
Southern Holidays opening hours are: January to March: Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 20:00, Saturdays from 09:00 to 16:00 April to December: Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.00, Saturdays from 09.00 to 12.00. Please call our reservations department for bookings and enquiries. Once you have reserved your holiday we shall reserve your request for seven days pending receipt of your deposit. We shall return your holiday confirmation and receipt within 10 working days. Full balance will be due 4 weeks prior to your departure date for Spanish holidays, for Christmas holidays 8 weeks prior to departure. Your deposit is £25 per person. Your final balance date will be shown on your invoice, no further reminder will be given by Southern Holidays. Your travel and coach tickets will be sent approx. 10 working days prior to travel.
SPECIAL REQUESTS Any special requests must be made at the time of booking but these cannot be guaranteed. If added at a later date a £10.00 admin. charge will be applied.
NO SMOKING Southern Holidays operate a total NON SMOKING policy on board all coaches.
YOUR LUGGAGE Only ONE medium size suitcase per person will be permitted in the luggage compartment of the coach. The size must NOT exceed 30” x 18” x 10” (inches) and approximately 451bs per person. We regret we are unable to carry freezer boxes on our coaches.
Full Board - Breakfast, lunch and evening meal. Half Board - Breakfast and evening meal. Fully Inclusive - Breakfast, lunch, evening meal and selected drinks. Rooms - Single bedded, twin bedded, triple and quadruple are twin bedded rooms with extra beds added.
YOUR COACH All Southern Holidays coaches offer reclining seats, air conditioning, washroom and toilet, video/DVD and complimentary hot drinks served by our hostess or host. Please note that where special requests are made for coach seats the position of the toilet or emergency exits may vary according to the coach used.
HOLIDAY PAYMENTS Cheques may be sent through the post made payable to Southern Holidays Ltd, along with a completed booking form. Cash UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should be sent through the post, it is only accepted in our office. We also accept credit/debit card payments, please note a 2.5% charge applies to all transactions.
NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR HOLIDAY All meals and drinks on your outward and return journeys, (other than complimentary tea and coffee provided on board your coach). All optional excursions at your resort.
YOUR INSURANCE Holiday insurance is required by all persons travelling, but you do not have to buy your insurance from Southern Holidays. However, you will be required to prove to us at the time of booking that you do have your own insurance. We recommend that all passengers obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). This will enable you to obtain emergency treatment within the E.C. hospitals. You can get an application form for an EHIC card from your local main post office.
INFANTS AND YOUNG CHILDREN All infants under the age of 1 year travel free of charge, but any cots or food provided at your hotel must be paid direct to your hotel. We require to be informed of such circumstances at the time of booking. Children up to 14 years are subject to the price panels relating to your choice of hotel. Reductions for children are available only when sharing a room with 2 full paying adults. At some of the hotels a limited number of free child places are available.
