Bringing together only the finest and most influential players in the field such as architects, engineers, interior designers and key decision makers to construction companies, design firms, manufacturers and stakeholders, this year’s WORLDBEX had a mission to contribute to the continuous development of the industry. With this in mind, visitors were treated to a wide range of product showcase and events that were aimed at improving the quality of Filipino communities.

Dynamic displays and intensified global reach Simultaneously held at the World Trade Centre Metro Manila and the SMX Convention Centre Manila, WORLDBEX 2019 boasted an exhibition space of nearly 33,000 square metres.

It offered some 700 local and international exhibitors an opportunity to present their wide array of building and construction products, services and technologies. In total, there were about 1,500 booths at WORLDBEX 2019 and they also included associations and embassies from various countries. As WORLDBEX 2019 continued to strengthen its ties between the local and international industry sectors, 16 countries participated at this year’s show. They included China, India, Czech Republic, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Malaysia, Thailand, Spain, Denmark, Italy, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, and UAE. Besides being a platform for exhibitors to showcase their products, WORLDBEX 2019 aims to be a prime venue for industry professionals and investors alike who are seeking to expand their B2B opportunities on a domestic and international scale.

design and architecture, WORLDBEX had set up the Interior Designer’s Gallery, the Architect’s Gallery, City of Tomorrow and the Mañosa exhibit. An inter-school competition called Projéto Manila Design Competition was held in conjunction with the exhibition.

Knowledge and innovation in one mega expo As an advocate of continued learning, WORLDBEX hosted a series of events aimed at fostering innovative excellence and promoting meaningful dialogue among industry professionals. With topics ranging from the latest trends in construction and design to the most pressing issues faced by the urban community, the WORLDBEX Seminars aimed to address those issues by inviting architects, engineers and design professionals from the Philippines and Southeast Asia to share their experience and solutions. WORLDBEX Seminars are CPD-accredited for architects, engineers, interior designers and other peers in the industry. In addition, the WORLDBEX MiniCon was a one-day seminar hosted by a handful of the supporting associations at this year’s show.
