Business help is at hand Mandy Offers Expert Advice
We spoke to Mandy Fitzmaurice from the Change Partner Consultancy. She has over 20 years’ experience in human resources consultancy, change management and general management across a broad range of service industries. “I saw how difficult it was for smaller businesses to be able to access high-quality human resource services, support and advice and so created Change Partner Consultancy to enable more companies to be able to access this kind of support through a range of flexible HR solutions that won’t break the bank”, explained Mandy. Mandy now works with business leaders and their teams to help them navigate and manage their way through the minefield of employment legislation and change that comes with running any kind of business in today’s world. We asked Mandy about business in our area, “I think there is great opportunity for business in Southbourne. The Grove is really blossoming and becoming a vibrant community that is attracting people from out of the area that will all contribute towards encouraging more and more businesses to Southbourne. Businesses need to make sure they show faith and use each others services which will then see everyone succeed.” Mandy shops local, “I love Sugar Mango and the new Deli Rocks is a breath of fresh air and is becoming a real talking point and Costa's arrival is a real positive sign that Southbourne is on its way up.”

Bournemouth Beaches Collapse! Shock news
Yes you read correctly! The staff of Bournemouth Beaches are ready to collapse after an extremely busy year. “We cannot believe that in just 12 months we have done so much. A big thank you to all of our landlords from 2011 and a warm welcome to our new owners joining us for the 2012 season – we really look forward to working with you and providing the great service that only Bournemouth Beaches can offer”, explained Natalie. She continued, “We are pleased to continue our association with JUST who provide us with in house maintenance support, out of hours service and now their newly formed JUST FLY who will provide all of our guest airport transfers for 2012. Add this to our in house laundry and linen hire service, online booking, extended hours to include Sunday opening, online concierge and flexible landlord options and you will see that we really go the extra mile. It is easier to say that no other agent in this area provides the same level of service as Bournemouth Beaches. Something you may not know is that we also provide a professional residential lettings service – please call us if you would like to discuss some options. If you are not happy with your current agent or have tenant issues then we can help.” In 2011 Bournemouth Beaches acquired the lease to a property in Belle Vue Road. They invested heavily on transforming the inside of the building to achieve three luxury studio holiday flats and one large residential property. On the ground floor, spacious commercial premises were created and they have sponsored the Southbourne Creative Hub at to use these facilities. The Hub is a not for profit organisation promoting creative art for the community. “Every year we improve and enhance our service to help our landlords and guests alike. This year we have employed an additional full time staff member, Hayley Chalmers, who along with working on our sales desk will take responsibility for our Social Media and PR department. We have also expanded all of our in house services and increased our property portfolio. Our interest in The Hub at Southbourne has proved very successful and looks to be a template for other similar organisations to work in community based projects.” said Natalie.
