As always I would like to give a warm welcome to today’s visitors and our near neighbours from Cropredy We hope you enjoy the matchday experience at BHP for the first ever competitive game between the two clubs. We have an excellent relationship with Cropredy having played them in pre season friendlies over the last couple of years. Those were tight games

and I expect nothing but a highly competitive local derby for today’s league encounter Last week was great to be back at BHP after some tough games on the road. The conditions were horrendous but the quality of our pitch meant it stood up to the elements to allow us to get the game on when a lot of local games were postponed. A massive thank you to my liaison group and especially my dad in preparing such a good pitch in the aftermath of heavy winter weather. On to last weeks game. It was always going to be a game of two halves with the wind. First half we by far created the better chances against the wind but credit must go to Garsington as they were very competitive with a new look squad first half. After some tweaking at halftime, and instructions taken on board, our second half performance was superb. To score seven goals in one half of football was a great effort. We moved the ball much quicker and were ruthless in our attacking play. I’m pretty sure the final 9-1 scoreline is a club record for a national league system competition and our biggest win since we
