ASH KNIGHTS LETTER FROM THE CAPTAIN
Welcome back to Bobby Hancocks Park for today’s game against Kenilworth Sporting. After last weeks 3-2 defeat to local rivals Cropredy its important we put things right this week with our performance. Too many of us last week had a “bad day at the office”, myself included. If I’m honest It was the first time since I’ve joined the club where I’ve questioned myself. I understand you will have bad games here and there but for me something I consider as my main strength (work rate and desire) wasn’t 100% as I would of expected. It’s been a tough week for dwelling on the result but looking at the bigger picture it’s been a good start to the season with a totally new side so it’s important we move on quickly, learn from it, and keep moving in the right direction. Its one game at a time and see
where it takes us. We are all excited for today’s game. Its these type of games that you want to play in. To test yourself against a good side in a cup Quarter Final. For me personally I was buzzing to see we had Kenilworth in the next round. Its a club I captained in my younger years and also a club I played for on a Sunday managed by my dad. I must mention I’m absolutely delighted to see all the good things going on at the club at present. I hope you enjoy the game and as always we thank you for your continued support. UTS
