Maintenance Operations Diploma Location: BG | Duration: 1 Year | Level: 2 Are there any entry requirements? There are no formal entry requirements but the study of GCSE in Maths and English is an advantage. To enrol on this course you will need a commitment to pursuing a career in the construction industry.

What will I study? You will study maintenance operations through a combination of practical and written sessions in our extensive well equipped workshops and classrooms. You will spend around 70% of your time in practical workshops with the remaining time in theory and functional skills. The units of study include: Health and safety Construction technology Planning and communication Masonry repair Painting and decorating repair Plastering repair Plumbing repair Carpentry repair

Construction workshop rules require students to wear personal protective equipment at all times.

What can I do after this course? This course provides an ideal grounding for progression to work in housing maintenance and repair and/or apprenticeship in maintenance operations.
