But by far the most common reason most people never rearrange their cruddy life: they simply can’t be bothered. Most people are just too lazy to live happier lives. Let that sink in for a second: the main reason most people end up unsuccessful is because they couldn’t be bothered to do the work. They are unwilling to do the work. They know what they want; they might even know how to get there. They want to have 100 percent financial freedom, be their own boss, own a company, travel the world, lose weight, open a business, write a book, and a hundred other dreams. But dreams take work over a long time, and the process can be tedious. So most people remain in mediocrity because they are just too lazy. 12
