Then, whilst the ingredients are made into your lunch, retire to the Lounge for an aperitif with your fellow cooks, followed by a three course lunch. Wine Events Join us for our ever popular hosted wine evenings in the Lounge. Matt Downing and his team will create a 3 course supper to perfectly match the chosen wines. Thursday 14 May | Wines from France, Italy & South Africa An examination of three individual wine estates from these leading wine producing countries, looking at their values, philosophies and attitudes to growing vines and making wines. Thursday 18 June | Explore wine from the Douro Valley Join us on a journey through the famous Douro valley in Portugal where we explore white, red and fortified wines from this historic region. Wine Events start at 7pm and are priced at £35 per person
Easter Holidays Chocolate Afternoon Tea We have given our Afternoon Tea a chocolate makeover for the Easter holidays. From chocolate chip scones with chocolate praline spread to chocolate & orange macaroons and lots more in between, you will not be disappointed. Bank Holidays As our reputation grows as the place to be for bank holiday Mondays, take a look at our great new line up for 2015. Monday 6 April | Smorgasbord | £19.95 This Easter we will be showcasing a classic Scandi buffet to include dishes such as cold meats, smoked and pickled fish, a selection of great cheese and relishes and of course some sweet treats to finish. Monday 4 May | Cooking with Fire | £15.95 We are delighted to be working with our award winning local butcher/farmer Peter from Pipers Farm to bring you some amazing meat cooked in fire pits. We may even swap the deck chairs for hay bales! Monday 25 May | Garden Party | £15.95 We all love a knees up in the garden, think dainty finger sandwiches, quiche, scones, strawberry tarts and of course unlimited tea from china cups your grandmother used to have. We will of course have a Pimms bar ready! Bank Holiday events run from 12.30 - 3pm
Intimate Spring Suppers Enjoy great food, wine and company at our hosted evenings in our private dining room.
