Friday, October 28 at 6:30pm Next 56 degree event: TURKEY BINGO! Have some fun and help others at the same time. Friday, Nov.11th, 7:00-8:30 p.m. here at SOTL. The entry fee is a nonperishable food donation (or several) for Gleaner’s Food Bank or a hygiene product for the Personal Needs Pantry here at SOTL. Sign up outside Mrs. Colley’s office ASAP or e-mail ann@shepherdsvoice.org. A couple of adult chaperones will be needed, please call or e-mail to volunteer.

-participants park cars with trunks open and decorated, hand out candy or small trinkets (there will be separate parking for those who come just to participate in the fun without a decorated trunk). -all kids are welcome, and we’d love for the empty-nesters, singles and grandparents to be a part of the fun too (costumes for adults are optional but encouraged, why let the kids have all the fun?!)

Whatever they may be facing – poverty, war, or disaster – these boys and girls are reassured that they have a heavenly Father who cares. And that’s a gift that endures forever.

Mission Trip 2012

Students who are currently in 9th - 12th grade are invited to join us as we travel to Linville NC for our 2012 Mission Trip. We will be working with Habitat for Humanity, hosting VBS for abused and neglected children and participating in a field day/picnic for disabled adults. This is sure to be a wonderful experience for all who participate. Information is located at the Youth Booth in the Commons. Registration forms and $100 deposit are due by November 1st.
