SOPHISTICATED SOCIETY, Presented by Kentucky Select Properties

Every event seems to be written in pencil these days. Hoping for the best, a few non-profit organizations have made plans to resume special events beginning in late spring. While these are all subject to change, we are extremely excited to begin publishing a social calendar again!

FIGHT FOR AIR CLIMB

Photos by Ty Adams, Tony Bailey & Matthew Cottrell

Typically held in the stairwell of the National City Tower, the American Lung Association of Kentucky took their annual Fight for Air Climb outside to the Lynn Family Stadium. In doing so, the chapter earned the distinction of holding the first climb of 2021 and being the first ALA affiliate to hold the event in a stadium. As part of this COVID-conscious event, participants climbed 2,000 stairs within the stadium while raising just shy of $83,000 in support of lung health.
