HOTEL JEROME ASPEN
WHERE TO STAY: Hotel Jerome has been the social hub of Aspen since its opening in 1889 at the height of the town’s silver boom, known as the place where many great stories are told. Guests have witnessed many sights-cowboys riding through their doors, 10th Mountain Division soldiers drinking pints after training on the slopes, and Hunter S. Thompson holding court during his run for sheriff. You can’t experience Aspen without experiencing Jerome.

Hotel Jerome
WHERE TO DINE: Hotel Jerome boasts three great dining options. Prospect is the perfect place to find an elevated yet approachable selection of American bistro dishes that showcase every season in the Roaring Fork Valley. The newest addition to the town’s social scene pays homage to the wife of Hotel Jerome’s original proprietor, Jerome B. Wheeler. Enjoy craft cocktails and small plates in-between ski runs or a day of shopping. With its lively buzz and Old West vibe, the 19th-century bar remains the town’s social hub, where ski bums rub elbows with socialites over craft beers, vintage-inspired cocktails, and Aspen’s best burger.
