The location of this boutique hotel shines a light on the tragic historical past of New Orleans. The design sparks curiosity by utilizing balance, contrast and movement in a luxurious and modern way. Design solutions are influenced by the Great Fires of New Orleans and how they rose from the ashes, thus bringing the Boutique Hotel back to the cities origin.

This design is inspired by the complex and intricate inner workings of the human eye. Spherical forms create a change in scale and movement, and are complimented by the use of color and light. The design solution offers an ethereal daytime atmosphere and an ominous evening mystery that transcends through the use of architectural features and materiality.

Impact of Biophilia
As humans, we are inclined to be in nature. When selecting materials and finishes for a medical facility, elements of biophilia should always be integrated into the design solution. Biophilic design not only reduces stress of patients and staff, but also shows improvement of patient outcomes.
Considering Circadian Rhythm
The effect of both artificial and natural lighting is an important consideration when designing a medical facility. Visual access to daylighting, as well as nature in general, is clinically proven to help improve many patient's health, safety and well-being.

Rossi Residence
The design of this compact home, conveys a soft, bright and airy feeling. Elegant columns and neutral tones are inspired from classic Roman architecture. Elements are borrowed from the breathtaking scenery of the Caribbean, relaying the calming blue sea and the warm sand between your toes. Upon entering, you are transported to a relaxing, breezy oasis that can be called home for this family of six.
