ACADEMIC HONOREES HISTORY
DEFINING STUDENT-ATHLETE Aaron Ivey (left) was given the most prestigious award bestowed upon any college baseball player in 2007 as ESPN the Magazine and CoSIDA’s Academic All-American of the Year. Ivey was the first in program history to receive the award and the first Sooner to receive the honor since Stacey Dales (women’s basketball) in 2002. Ivey was also the first Sooner in program history to be named an Academic All-American (first or second team) in consecutive seasons.
