How do I get? The El Soldado Estuary is located in San Carlos, 12 miles northwest of the Guaymas port. The turn off to San Carlos is found on Km. 13 of the Guaymas-Hermosillo stretch of the International Highway. There are two roads to the estuary branching off from the San Carlos scenic corridor: on Km.4 is the entrance through the Ejido Buenos Aires in the new road to Las Tinajas; at the midle of this road is the mouth of the estuary and the visitors center under construction.The second option, 1 mile further on, is the road to the Pilar Condos, through this route one comes to a canal with mangroves, where you can enjoy the peacefulness of the waters.
