CDD information
By Bill Parsons Vice Chairman, Seven Oaks CDD
$$$ The Seven Oaks CDD Budget $$$
A
t the August 21 CDD meeting, there will be a public hearing for homeowners at Seven Oaks to have an opportunity to provide the CDD Board with inputs to the October 1, 2013 - September 30, 2014 CDD proposed budget. In addition, homeowners can provide the Board inputs at the July 15 CDD meeting. At the CDD Board meeting on June 12, 2013, the Board considered three different budgets. The expenses were the same in all three budgets. The difference was how much excess revenue from previous years that we will use this year. Because the excess revenue would be depleted in a couple of years and we need funds for contingencies, the Board decided not to use any of the revenue from
excess revenue from previous years and put it in the Contingency Funds (line 200). The budget below reflects this option. The Line No. is a reference number only. There are some line numbers missing and some lines that are blank. Line items that you may want to look at are the following: Line # 12: Total amount of revenue the CDD will received from assessments and other services
Line # 105-108: Maintenance employees Line # 114, 124, & 128: Landscape Maintenance Line # 139-142: Employees at clubhouse Line # 156 & 157: Maintenance of pools Line # 193: Reserves that will be used to maintain facilities (e.g. clubhouse), parks, retention ponds, roads, etc. Line # 194: Maintenance garage. Maintenance Superintendent wants to replace two small rented sheds
Line # 26-29: Rizzetta Line # 31: District engineer Line # 33: Attorney Line # 72: Leased street lights Line # 93: Retention ponds maintenance
Line # 195: Amount budgeted for removal of oak trees and planting of new trees. v

District staff makes every effort to insure that the safety of all patrons at the pool is maintained. Despite our best efforts, the Clubhouse encompasses a large area, and this means that staff cannot be at all places at once. It is important to remind your children that the bottom of the slide is not a location to hang out and wrestle with their friends. There is also an issue with children playing and diving in directly on the side of the slide. We know that sometimes the children can get caught up in the fun and excitement, but this is a legitimate safety concern as children swim and play directly in front of the slide. Please help us to keep your children safe by explaining the potential outcome of a collision of this nature. We appreciate your help and look forward to a fun and exciting pool season. July 2013
Water Slide Hours The slide will be operational on weekends only until the Pasco County school season is over, at which point we will be operational 7 days a week. The slide will open at 11am and close 1 hour prior to closing. The pools are opened 1/2 hour after sunrise, and will close 1/2 hour before sunset (weather permitting). --------------------------------------------------------------------------
Access Cards Access cards must be present when entering the clubhouse or using any area of the Clubhouse facility. The picture on the card must match the person presenting the card. If you lost or misplaced your access card, you must replace it if you would like to utilize the facilities. The fee for a replacement card is $15. (tax inclusive) Individuals who do not have a valid access card will be asked to leave the premises or pay the daily non-resident usage fee. Please treat your access card as a key to entering your home. Anyone needing to update a lease or that may be in need of new card due to damage or loss is advised to obtian a card prior to Spring Break. We are always more that happy to be of service to you at any time, but your wait time may be drastically reduced by taking advantage of the seasonal lull that is experienced this time of year. Many resident aren’t aware that they may have misplaced their cards between pool outings so we encourage you to check your purses, wallets and pool bags before making the first trip to the pool of the season with all your belongings in tow. --------------------------------------------------------------------------
New Tennis Policy Due to excessive “no-shows” we will be implementing a slightly more strict tennis policy for reservations. If it is documented that a player has not called to cancel a reservation that has been made in advance 3 times in a given month, then a letter will be sent to make this individual aware of the policies. If the same issue continues to present a problem, a second letter will be sent which will serve as a 2nd warning. In the event these actions persist we will send a third and final letter that will result in the loss of ability to make advance reservations. We prefer not to do this, but the high volume of no-shows impacts the ability of other residents to make reservations. Page 9

It’s a Tough Job & We’re Happy to Do It! teaches through weekly themes and accommodates different learning styles. Children should play, but learning through play is key to a child’s growth and maturation. We recently received a “Double Platinum” award from Kids R Kids International Corporation and we are an AdvancED accredited school. Our owner and staff strive to make our school the best and promise to never stop improving.
T
oday more and more families have to make the decision on who is going to care for their children while they are working. At Kids R Kids Boyette, we realize that this decision is not an easy one. While many parents choose to enroll their children in various daycares in the
community; we would like to offer an alternate choice. Kids R Kids Boyette is not a traditional a daycare that will merely supervise your children at play. We are a Learning Center for children. We offer a stimulating curriculum that
Tour our school and you will witness what teachers call “a ha” moments in every classroom, every day of the week. In our infant classroom you will hear babies squealing with delight as they discover their hands or take their first steps. In our two year class rooms you will see teachers and children celebrate together while doing the potty dance. Our three year old classes will be busy learning their shapes and numbers all the while mastering the technique of sharing their crayons with their peers. Our four year old students will be practicing writing their own
names and painting masterpieces for their biggest fans. Our VPK classes are learning academic and social skills preparing for Elementary school. Kids R Kids Boyette is a busy place where kids are allowed to truly be themselves and take chances while learning new things. Children need to feel safe, secure and confident in their environment. Our motto is “A Hug Above the Rest”. It is common practice for our teachers and staff to give high fives, hugs, and kiss boo-boos! We love our students and their families; we take pride in having great relationships with them!
