Creating exquisite original rings for countless love stories, Vanessa Stowers, Filigree’s designer, is known for her passion for stones and expert knowledge as a jewellery designer. Filigree is set to release the most luxurious collection Christchurch has ever seen from them. Filigree is returning to its origins with outspoken, luxury designs, with all pieces designed and handmade in their onsite workshop. Peerless in quality, this launch will be exclusive to the Christchurch public. The collection is inspired by classical Venetian and Roman art, using the boldest and most exclusive precious gems that Filigree have sourced and coveted over 15 years in business. Incorporating rich, luxurious and vivid colours, this collection will follow Filigree’s ethos: influenced by modern design with historical overtones to the strongest intent. Coinciding with New Zealand Fashion Week, Filigree’s event brings the thrill of a fashion week event to Christchurch – with the emphasis on showcasing one-off pieces released to match the resurgence and rebirth of Christchurch’s creative culture and art scene. This will be a startlingly unique presentation, differing from any launch event they have ever previously done.
