SCOE Spotlight 2020-21 Year In Review

We’re Back!

Schools Return to Classrooms Across the County Starting the school year amid the COVID-19 pandemic has presented many challenges to say the least. School district and charter school teams throughout Solano County continue to implement COVID-19 mitigation strategies on school campuses to keep students and staff safe. Aspects of state guidelines for contact tracing, notification, testing and quarantine enforcement are challenging and complex. Adaptability has become a theme for schools amongst ever-changing circumstances and COVID-19 case rates. Yet, Solano schools are excited to see students return to school campuses and a modified sense of normalcy. SCOE teachers, administrators and staff shared in the excitement of returning to school campuses across the county. The first week of school for SCOE programs was filled with smiles and laughter as we reconnected with students face-to-face. Students enrolled in SCOE programs start off the school year with smiles
