New generation of insulation control relay from ABB ABB Company in Ukraine offers new insulation control relay SM series that meet all requirements of VDE standard. In particular, it is about rules IEC/EN61557-1 (About general requirements for equipment to monitor safety parameters in distribution systems up to 1000V and 1500V) and IEC / EN 61557-8 (about devices for insulation control in IT systems) of this standard. The artificial leaf which is capable to transform water into fuel by means of light is invented Inventors led by the professor of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Daniel Nocera created the device which they named an artificial leaf. Same as leaves of live plants, the device is capable to transform energy of sun rays into chemical fuel which can be kept and used then as an energy source. An artificial leaf - a silicic solar element with various catalytic materials on both sides - thanks to that no external wires or schemes for management are required. It is necessary just to place the device into the capacity with water, opened for hit of sun rays, and reaction of waters electrolytic dissociation will begin. From one side plates will start to allocate oxygen vials, and from another - hydrogen. Thus, if to place the device in the capacity, which have the dividing barrier, two streams of vials can be collected and kept for the further use as fuel. For example, they can be applied in a fuel element which then will unite them again in water, having provided electric current reception. The artificial leaf is created from wide spread and not expensive materials - basically, from silicon, cobalt and nickel - and works with usual water.

So, the light stream of this type lights makes 27 thousand lumens, and the quantity of light-emitting diodes which are used, reaches 32-160 pieces. Topic of issue The source of solar energy is the nuclear conversion of hydrogen to helium in the solar core, where the temperature exceeds 10 million degrees. Earth which is located 149 million km. from the Sun receives about 2 * 1017 watts of solar energy per year. Based on the scientist’s calculations, the use of only 0.125% of energy, which emits by sun, could provide today’s current energy necessity of whole planet and 0.5% - fully cover all needs, taking into account long term. At the same time, solar energy is still at an early stage of development. Its contribution to total global energy consumption does not exceed 0.1%, and among renewable source energy, to the sun energy belongs about 1%. Ukraine, in it turn, has a good geographical location. In Crimea, obtained from the Sun energy is 1.5 thousand kW / hour per 1 square meter. If take the whole territory of Ukraine, its capacity ranges from 1070 to 1500 kW / hour per square meter. With the most common solar battery today you can convert this energy into electric current with efficiency up to 24%. The tunnel is part of the european automobile road E16 between Oslo and Bergen. The length of the tunnel is a 24.5 km. The decision on building of the tunnel was adopted by the government of Norway in the early 90-ies. The construction of a new road was caused by the necessity of permanent communication between the country’s capital Oslo and the Bergen city, as in the winter the mountain passes are often closed and ferry crossings were very long and expensive option. Construction of the tunnel started in 1995, and after 5 years on the new road passed the first cars. Today the Lerdal tunnel remains the longest road tunnel in the world, surpassing the previous leader on 8 kilometers. The mountains, through which passes the tunnel, reach a height of 1,600 meters.
