PAMELA MORGAN’S CABARET SHOW
Winners of the 2019 Chita Rivera Awards were announced at The NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. The 2019 Chita Rivera Awards were produced by Joe Lanteri, the founder and executive director of the New York City Dance Alliance Foundation, Inc., in conjunction with Patricia Watt. The mission of the Chita Rivera Awards is to celebrate dance and choreographic excellence; preserve notable dance history; recognize past, present and future talents; promote high standards in dance education; and invest in the next generation.
The renowned cookbook author, lifestyle and entertaining expert Pamela Morgan returned to her musical roots when she performed her one-woman cabaret show exclusively at The Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York City. Pamela’s repertoire for her show included selections from the Great American Songbook, iconic classics by Carole King, as well as a couple of country tunes. She also teamed up with local cabaret legends Mark Nadler as her director and Gregory Toroian as her musical director, plus she was accompanied by a three-piece band.

AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY’S TASTE OF HOPE The American Cancer Society hosted its 14th annual Taste of Hope at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. The event raised over $250,000 in support of the organization’s goal to eliminate cancer. Notable attendees included Otto Cedeno, Chef Ralph Scamardella, Dana Cowin, Chef Michael Lomonaco, Mark D. Friedman, Jamie Koff, Chris Wragge, Geraldine Hughes, Chef Todd English, Sarabeth Levine, Chef Antonio Prontelli, Fabiana Dwyer, Matthew Dwyer, Guy Tomlinson, Hazel Koch, Pearl Koch, Matt Leone, Stephanie Leone, Jean Shafiroff, Danny Burstein, Rebecca Luker and David Pogrebin.
