A CONVERSATION WITH MILLINER PATRICIA UNDERWOOD On April 7 Michele Gerber Klein hosted FIT Couture Council members for a conversation between milliner Patricia Underwood and The Museum of FIT’s director, Dr. Valerie Steele. The ladies assembled at Patricia’s Chelsea townhouse where tea, Champagne, and cucumber sandwiches were served while trying on hats. Guests included author of Patricia Underwood:

MAD chairman emerita Barbara Tober presented Isabel and Ruben Toledo with a birthday cake at their seats. The Toledos’ designed the LOOT 2016 artwork Joan Hornig for the invitation. The evening’s events included first access for patrons to meet the LOOT 2016 artists and acquire their designs, a cocktail hour and reception, as well as a dinner to honor the LOOT 2016 Award recipients: jewelry designer and arts patron Joan Hornig and fashion designer and philanthropist Kay Unger.
