These tiles can be installed with practically no grout joint. Straight edged porcelains are cut with machinery on the press that creates a 90 degree edge. They are able to be installed with a minimal grout joint. Non-rectified tiles do not have the 90 degree sharp edges but are instead of a softer edge.
