SND USA Spiritual Retreat Awakening to God Within Us During these times of tension and restlessness and the behaviors they have evoked, we look for a sense of meaning and assurance. Where do we look? What do we find there? Cistercian monk and priest Thomas Keating and Franciscan priest Richard Rohr invite us to spend some time in retreat looking honestly at ourselves and knowing that God can lead and enlighten us if we only listen. Their CD series, Healing Our Violence Through the Journey of Centering Prayer, provides a pathway and practice for us. We look forward to your joining us March 12-14, 2021, as Frs. Keating and Rohr guide our virtual weekend retreat consisting of six sessions (approximately 60-90 minutes each). Visuals accompany the presentations. For further information, call Lial Renewal Center at 419-877-0432.

Choosing Christ in the World This is a valuable extended virtual or on-site retreat in everyday life inspired by St. Ignatius of Loyola which allows the retreatant to deepen her/his spiritual longings without leaving the reality of ordinary daily life. With the aid of the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius, the retreatant finds nourishment for the desire to see Christ more clearly, love Him more dearly and follow Him more nearly. Finding Christ in the World This is a virtual or on-site, 12-week retreat based on the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola for persons who desire to integrate the events of everyday life and their spiritual search. This experience requires participants to commit to prayer daily using the materials provided in the book,

Finding Christ in the World, while living the events of their ordinary daily life. Each week the group gathers virtually to deepen their prayer experience by sharing with the help of a facilitator. For more information about this virtual retreat and where to order the book, contact Sister Joanne Mary Frania, SND at 419-913-9851 by September 1, 2021.

On-Going Spiritual Direction/ Companioning Spiritual direction/companioning is an ancient practice of accompanying people who desire to grow in their relationship with God and find greater peace and purpose in their lives. This confidential, one-on-one meeting every 4-6 weeks is conducted in a respectful, prayerful atmosphere. Further information can be found on the Lial Renewal Center website: lialrenewalcenter.org.

Hanging onto Hope in a Beautiful and Imperfect World How do we remain hopeful amid the gloom and doom that pervades the daily news and our personal lives? This retreat explores that question by contemplating the nature of hope and its relation to faith, love, and courage. It also offers ways we can nourish hope in our lives through such things as prayer, service, friendship, letting go, playfulness, and beauty. Using scripture, music, poetry, stories, and short videos, we will be invited deeper into the Mystery of God, the ultimate source of all hope. Facilitated by Sister Melannie Svoboda, SND, this retreat is scheduled for May 23-29, 2021 at Heartland Center for Spirituality, Great Bend, KS.
