SHAPING CHAMPIONS

THANK YOU Last year, Mustang Club donors supported our 424 student-athletes by contributing a record $3.3 million to SMU Athletics. I offer my gratitude because every time you donate or buy a ticket, you contribute to the academic and athletic success of our student-athletes. SMU’s message of “World Changers Shaped Here” has been adopted by the Department of Athletics, and by you, the donor. With your gift, the Mustang Club provides the resources to help our student-athletes reach their academic and athletic potential. Thanks to your generosity we are Shaping Champions. We invite you to join us in our quest to establish SMU as the premier program in the American Athletic Conference. Please make a donation to the Mustang Club to show your support of our student-athletes in the classroom, in competition and in life.

MUSTANG CLUB At SMU, the education of our student-athletes is at the core of our mission. Your gift to the Mustang Club enables SMU Athletics to provide our student-athletes with the resources needed to succeed at a world-class university, and bring honor and recognition to SMU. Established in 1935, the Mustang Club provides the opportunity for the most loyal fans of SMU Athletics to show their commitment and invest in our student-athletes. It begins with you. Every gift made to the Mustang Club helps to transform the lives of our student-athletes by creating pathways to success in the classroom and on the field.

Your Investment A scholarship at SMU provides much more than tuition and room and board. Your gift to the Mustang Club supports every aspect of the student-athlete experience, including: EDUCATION – Talented young men and women gain access to an SMU education. SUPPORT SERVICES – Strategic resources enhance student-athletes’ pursuit of academic excellence. ROOM AND BOARD – Student-athletes benefit from living on campus and in Residential Commons. TRAVEL – Student-athletes experience parts of the country they might not otherwise visit. PERSONNEL – Coaches and trainers instill values that complement student-athletes’ formal education. LIFE SKILLS – Student-athletes receive career planning assistance and learn how to create résumés, manage money and prepare for interviews. EQUIPMENT – We provide the best equipment available in all levels of sport to ensure our student-athletes’ safety and minimize their risk of injury. HEALTH INSURANCE – Our student-athletes receive exceptional health care.
